The Mustard Seed Christian Ministries Trust, Sidmouth.

Registered Charity No. 1048903

The Mustard Seed Ministries Trust was formed in March 1995 and the bookshop was purchased in April that year, using gifts from local churches and supporters and an interest free loan. This loan was paid back in just three years and we give God the glory for this.

The Trust's principal objects are:

1)

to sell Christian literature, audio and visual aids, films and any other material of a Christian nature;

2)

to sell light lunches, home-made cakes and refreshments within an environment to assist/provide Christian ministry to all customers;

3)

to assist and support charitable organisations and activities and churches for the promotion of Christian missionary and evangelical work, including giving financial help when and where felt necessary.

We aim to serve the whole church regardless of tradition or local bias, and by doing so strengthen the Christian witness in this area, to the Glory of God.

We are committed to evangelistic outreach into the community, which we seek to serve, through mission, providing bookstalls for churches, and other organisations.

The bookshop/café is situated just across the road from All Saints Church where the well-known and highly successful "Keswick in Devon" is held in March each year. This event attracts hundreds of visitors nation-wide and we run a bookstall on site.

The Sidmouth Folk Festival is held in various locations in the town in early August every year and this attracts thousands of people of all ages to the town. The bookshop/café is ideally situated drawing many people in to purchase food and literature.

We are open to suggestions for improving our service and we would also very much appreciate your support in prayer, finance or in any practical way you feel you would like to offer.
