We would like to share with you “Our Vision” for the Future.
We believe we should be a place to share the Christian message, to be a resource for local people, and the many who visit for encouragement in life’s journey. Our premises are too small and do not allow us to provide the service and environment we would like.
v Since 2005 it has been “Our Vision” to expand into the adjacent 3 room ground floor flat, using the additional space to:-
· Enlarge the kitchen area;
· Increase space for merchandise;
· Provide a place for confidential conversation;
· Improve the eating area;
· Create improved access for all;
· Provide an indoor toilet facility;
· Provide much needed storage.
v The Trustees were in dialogue with the owner of the flat, and planning consent to change the use of the flat was granted in September 2007. Sadly, the owner died suddenly and our plans were put on hold.
v When the property was eventually placed on the market, the Trustees entered negotiations with the new owners and in June 2009 a price was agreed.
v In July 2009, an architect and structural engineer were appointed and plans are currently being drawn up to incorporate changes we hope will help fulfil “Our Vision”.
v We Praise God for the goodness of you, His people, whose giving has so far enabled us to purchase the flat and the keys exchanged hands on Friday 6th November 2009
v Of course there is a long way to go! We still need to raise the much needed finance to convert the premises and to pay back an interest free loan that enabled the final purchase to be made.
v We clearly would ask therefore for your continued prayerful, financial and any other appropriate support to cover things like meeting deadlines, The application of planning consent for the internal changes, Wisdom for the correct builders to do the work and minimum disruption for our lovely neighbours.

We very much need your ongoing prayer support for the day to day management of the shop, and for the volunteers and the Trustees, that all things will be done under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We seek to bring glory to the Lord not ourselves in all that we do.
In 2010 we will continue to hold bi-monthly prayer meetings in the shop at 7.30pm on Mondays 18 January; 15 March; 17 May; 19 July; 20 September and 15 November. Please join us if you can.
